Pale fingers tapped into the message, quickly turned her head, and placed the phone beside Qin Muyu's face, asking for help.
"Vice President Qin, could you please read the message for me, oh no, first check if it's good news or bad news," she said.
As the vice president of Jiade, he was much luckier than she was, and she needed to borrow some of that luck!
"Sure, just wait half a minute," he replied.
Qin Muyu turned off the heat and poured the cooked okra into cooled boiled water to blanch.
Turning around, the first thing he saw was Yang Yuran's timid yet adorable expression, which made the corners of his mouth lift unconsciously.
Taking a step back, he glanced down at the phone that had just been pressed against his jaw.
"Ranran, it's good news," he said.
Yang Yuran didn't immediately take the phone back, her hand covering her eyes parted slightly to reveal a small gap.
