The two sets of photos featured the same female celebrity, Song Yu, with themes that were somewhat cliché: goddess and witch. However, the visual impact of his photos was particularly strong.
In the photos, the goddess Song Yu kneels at the Tianque Astrological Platform, praying for the common people. Soft light doesn't shine on top of her head but on her back instead, coating her entire outline with a pure, star-like radiance, holy and untouchable.
In contrast, the witch photo used a more opportunistic technique. He had Song Yu dressed in a black feather dress, holding a sword with the pose of a victor, stabbing forward. Post-processing of the photo showed the place stabbed by the sword with a shattered barrier; each piece of the barrier reflected the praying goddess from different angles.
