Wei Kun greeted them, led them to the warehouse where the costumes were displayed, and unlocked the door. He flipped on the lights and led the way into the dim, windowless room.
Since many of the costumes were custom-made and prone to fading under direct sunlight, they were kept in a dark room without windows.
"There aren't many costumes; pick whatever you like."
Wei Kun pulled out a rack with costumes from four major types of Chinese opera and made room for Yang Yuran and the others.
Kong Tengyu, getting a nod from Yang Yuran, was the first to step forward, selecting costumes suitable for a young female role and handed them to Fan Sirui.
