The sky had not yet darkened, but fans were already everywhere outside the venue, some holding banners and some lifting posters, displaying their support.
For such a grand competition, reporters, of course, weren't going to miss out, and various media personnel had already flocked to stake out the event.
However, to keep appetites whetted, the organizing committee had consistently refrained from letting the media inside for interviews. Everyone could only shoot footage of the fans outside, spread some gossip, and circulate official news handed out by the organizers.
As time ticked by second by second, dusk approached. When the streetlights lit up, the promotional clips for the competition that had been on repeat on the big screen finally switched to some behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage.
At this point, two caravans arrived at the venue in succession.
