Taking a deep breath, Mu Tianye bore the pain and pushed himself up with his arms.
"Mr. Mu!"
"Tianye!"
The nurse and Mu's mother rushed over to support him simultaneously, but Mu Tianye grabbed hold of his mother's wrist and pulled her toward him.
"Where's Xiaofei? Answer me!"
Mu's mother fell onto the bed, using her hands to support herself against the mattress to avoid falling. As she looked up to meet Mu Tianye's eyes, she read the suspicion within them. A flicker of oddness crossed her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure.
"Don't be nervous, I've transferred both of you to this hospital. She's asleep right now, but if you insist, I will call her here immediately."
Could it be that he was overthinking?
Mu Tianye held his mother's gaze for a moment before glancing out the window, then loosened his grip on her arm.
It must still be very early in the morning. Let that girl sleep a little longer.
"You'd better not be lying!"
