As she spoke, Ning Xiaofei's voice trailed off.
She fell into a deeper sleep against his chest, but Mu Tianye wasn't the least bit sleepy. He lifted her hand to his lips and his gaze fell upon her slender fingers.
When they got married, they only got a marriage license. He hadn't even shown up; there was no ceremony, no wedding banquet… and certainly no wedding rings.
Perhaps, it was time to make it up to her.
Looking at Ning Xiaofei sleeping peacefully in his arms, he gently shifted his body, pulled open the drawer, took out a piece of notepaper, carefully measured her finger size, folded the paper with the measurements, and put it back in the drawer before turning off the lights and closing his eyes with her in his embrace.
