"Today we've harvested fifteen crystal cores, plus the one from yesterday, making a total of sixteen. That should be about enough, right?" Zhiyan looked at Mentor Fei and asked.
"That's not certain just yet. Let's first take a look," Mentor Fei shook his head, still unsure whether Zhiyan would be able to proceed to the step of crystal core refinement.
Zhiyan nodded, walked over to the usual spot for alchemy, and with a thought, buzzing sounds resonated as a brown cauldron appeared before her.
With another activation of her mind, a rack of neatly arranged herbs appeared to her right. Zhiyan closed her eyes, filtering through the alchemy steps in her mind, and after ten minutes, her closed eyes suddenly opened, confidence coloring her fair and handsome face.
Mentor Fei stroked his beard, a faint smile playing across his aged face as he silently watched Zhiyan standing in front of the cauldron.
