Sandy's mouth twitched as he was stared down by a child; his face betrayed his embarrassment. Shasha's cheeks were flushed with red, and she glared at Zhiyan with sultry eyes.
"What do kids know about anything?" Shasha swore, she really wanted to stuff Zhiyan's mouth with food to shut her up.
"Hehe, what would a kid know, right? I don't know a thing." Zhiyan chuckled mischievously, a trace of wickedness at the corner of her mouth. Although she claimed ignorance, her expression seemed to say she knew everything.
"Hmph, keep talking nonsense and see if I don't tickle you," Shasha threatened, ready to deploy her signature move. Zhiyan gave her a blank stare and silently continued to eat her rice.
Winter had arrived, the leaves withered and yellow, the surroundings bare and desolate, silent and chilling.
