Both the old team captain and his wife, and the Leng squad leader and his spouse, were so easy to get along with, pushing no pressure onto them whatsoever; especially Ling Xi's grandmother and mother, who were incredibly hospitable—so much so that it startled her, yet at the same time, she couldn't help envying them deeply.
The Leng Family home was genuinely warm.
"Xixi," Leng Minghui walked down from upstairs and sat beside Ling Xi, looking at her with a gentle and affectionate gaze in his eyes.
His daughter was truly outstanding.
"Hmm?" Ling Xi turned around and looked at Leng Minghui, her face filled with confusion and a touch of dazed cuteness; she wondered if Leng Minghui had anything else he needed to tell her.
"It's nothing," Leng Minghui shook his head. He simply wanted to call out to her, after all, it had been three months since they last saw each other; moreover, they would have to part ways again in two days, and who knew when they would next see each other.
