I looked at her sharply. "You don't believe they can be trusted?"
"No! no, I didn't mean that. I meant… Well, I'll speak from a human perspective: We can't always know how we'll react if we get into a dangerous position with a guy. Are the female wolves all strong enough to physically overcome a human man if he's strong?"
I looked at Rake whose lips thinned.
"I would instinctively say yes, but… but it isn't quite that clear cut."
