Currently, in the bustling canteen, Patrick sat across from Aiden, and beside him was another guy whom Aiden didn't quite remember joining their table—someone who seemed to hover around Patrick, trying to calm him down.
"Please, don't calm him," Aiden growled, glaring at Patrick. "Let him come at me when I'm at full strength. Let's see if I won't land a few blows before he gains the upper hand."
The third person at the table, wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, had blonde hair and blue eyes. There was something off about his gaze, something that unsettled Aiden.
'I've seen him somewhere before, but where?' Aiden thought, still grappling with his memory loss when the new guy spoke.
"I'm Ethan," he said, his eyes flickering uneasily around the table before he added, "I believe you owe me a debt of gratitude."
Aiden scoffed, leaning back in his chair. "For what? Not letting me beat the crap out of Patrick?"
