"Yes, surprised?" Aiden asked, a smirk forming on his lips as he looked at Henry.
Instantly, Henry's form deactivated, revealing a fair-skinned man with dark, short hair. His face bore a calm expression as he said, "I'm really sorry for attacking you."
"Huh?" Aiden was taken aback by the apology. "For fighting me? What were you supposed to do then?"
"I'm sure you're wondering why I apologized, but one of the rules of my coven is not to kill a demon, and that's why I needed to explain," Henry said, noticing Aiden's confusion.
"And why is that?" Aiden asked, raising an eyebrow. "And what is this coven?"
"Because we are a race, supposed to be family. How will we increase if we kill each other? When we see our kind being attacked, we assist unless we confirm that he or she is actually an enemy," Henry replied, his last words hinting at something deeper.
"So, are you an enemy or a friend?" he asked, glancing from the Preys on the floor to Aiden.
