Enel, bathed in thunder, proclaimed words of judgment that seemed to carry a divine brilliance.

A massive bird formed from lightning shot toward Colt and the others.

Robin and Nami's faces turned pale. They could tell the power behind such an attack was fearsome.

The power of thunder was something people didn't understand since ancient times. But the one thing about it was its speed and destructive potential were massive.

Colt stepped forward, and thunder bloomed in his hands as he shot it forward.

The two torrents of electricity collided instantly.

Hiss!

Enel's 30 Million Volt Thunderbird attack was shredded like flimsy tissue paper!

Under the perception of his mantra, or as was known to the residents of the world as [Kenbunshoku Haki], Enel's expression shifted.

"You... you also possess the power of lightning!"

Enel's conceit stemmed from his belief that his ability was unique.

Colt's display deeply wounded his pride.

"You must die!" Enel roared.

For him, this meant that if he didn't kill Colt, then he could take his title as a god.

Colt shook his head, smirking.

"Your vision is too narrow. The power of lightning is common where I come from. There's no need to act so shocked."

He wasn't lying—thunder-based abilities were widespread in the ninja world.

Even chunnins could use them.

One particular genin was even a master of it. Technically, but still.

Colt's flying feathers spread out, turning black and crackling with lightning.

"Do you want to compete?" Colt teased.

If Sasuke or the others were here, they'd pity Enel.

One of Colt's quirks was defeating enemies in the domains they took the most pride in.

He had done so, so many times, they had lost count.

"60 Million Volts Thunder Dragon!" Enel snarled, slamming the drums on his shoulders.

Blinding light illuminated the land as a massive dragon roared down from the skies, aiming for Colt.

Unfazed, Colt's flying feathers swiftly reassembled, forming a thunder dragon.

Each scale of the dragon shimmered with cold, electric brilliance.

The two beasts collided in a thunderous explosion.

Boom!

Debris flew as terrifying shockwaves swept through the air, shaking the ground violently.

Residents across the island felt the tremors and looked up in fear, mistaking it for the wrath of the god that ruled over them.

"How did Luffy, who just entered the Grand Line, manage to defeat Enel?" Colt wondered.

Despite Enel's clearly refined mastery over his Thunder Fruit, Colt found it astounding that someone like Luffy could overcome him.

'Of course, being rubber, he could counter hi, but still, it was nothing short of a miracle for him to do so'

It seemed the protagonist's aura was truly absurd.

Colt increased his power and chakra output.

His thunder dragon shattered Enel's, then crashed into the self-proclaimed god.

Enel's body, now covered with countless tiny cuts, bled profusely.

His eyes widened in disbelief.

"Damn it!" Enel howled. "How can you hurt me?!"

It had been so long since he felt pain—a humbling reminder of his mortality he so desperately tried to forget.

In a fury, he bellowed, "200 Million Volts Thunder God!"

His body swelled as he transformed into his strongest form, the Thunder God.

Colt's expression turned cold.

"Let's end this. You're not my target this time."

He drew Kaminari, its sharp edge gleaming with lethal energy, and unleashed a devastating slash.

The blade's energy streaked toward Enel, who, sensing his doom, tried desperately to dodge.

But the world seemed to crush him in place, forcing him to take the full brunt of the attack.

The island trembled violently again.

Nami and Robin feared Sky Island would collapse. Thankfully, Colt had held back just enough.

Enel fell heavily to the ground, battered and defeated.

Robin's eyes glinted with curiosity. "I didn't expect your swordsmanship to be this powerful."

"I held back this time," Colt replied casually.

Nami smirked, recalling past battles where Colt's sword strikes obliterated enemies from a distance before they even saw him.

"This guy got off lightly."

"There are very few people in this world who can make me draw my sword. Enel doesn't qualify, I just felt like using it" Colt remarked as they approached the fallen god.

Enel struggled to stand, the ten deep gashes across his chest dripping blood.

"A god... defeated by a human from the Blue Sea…"

"God?" Nami scoffed. "Look at you. There are plenty of people in the sea stronger than you."

Enel's face contorted in denial. "Impossible! I don't believe it! I possess the power of the sky domain!"

Colt, however, saw potential in him. While Enel's pride grated on him, the Thunder Fruit's abilities—paired with Enel's talents in its development and his mastery of [Kenbunshoku Haki]—made him valuable.

"Nami," Colt interjected, stopping her retort. He turned to Enel.

"She's right. While you're strong, there are plenty of people in the Blue Sea who can kill you without effort."

Enel fell silent, unable to refute the words of the man who had just crushed him.

"If you're content being narrow-minded and ignorant, you can stay here. But if you want to grow stronger and truly master your powers, only I can help you."

Colt's words struck deep, challenging Enel's pride.

Enel hesitated. Because the underlying meaning was for him to work for this guy.

For years, he had been worshipped as a god.

Surrendering now and working under this guy felt like a betrayal… to himself.

"Let me take you somewhere," Colt offered.

"At that moment, you'll naturally understand. If not…" His eyes turned sharp. "I'll kill you myself."
