Jake's POV
You can't just do that." Celine pushed me away after I told her I was going to initiate her.
"Yes I can and I will. You are in my pack, my pack , my rules." I pointed at her making my words clear.
"Now bare your arms!" I used my Alpha tone on her, not giving her an avenue to argue.
She waited for a moment,then rolled up her sleeves for me,I came closer, held her arms, my canines were out already and I bit her. Her skin was so soft and her blood was I don't know heavenly,if I were a vampire I wouldn't have stopped.
"That hurts!" She reacted immediately.
The pack bond was established between us. I could feel her through the bond and it's easier for me to know what was going on in her head because I'm her Alpha now.
"Can I go now?" Celine spoke up as she rolled her sleeves down.
"Wait, are you crying?" I could see tears forming in her eyes.
It was supposed to stung but she's a Werewolf it shouldn't hurt that much.
"No, I'm leaving Alpha." She spoke the word Alpha crudely.
I nodded and she left my room. There was more to Celine that I just don't know and I'm going to find out.
"We received a distress call from the Crust Moon Pack this morning. There was a breach on their border,5 werewolf guards were killed." My Gamma Scott briefed me about the recent incident,we were in the dining room.
"Any info about those who were involved." I asked him as I looked through my tab of the pictures of the dead guards.
"Apparently the flesh slashing shows signs of rogues but not real rogues." Scott scratched his hair.
"What do you mean?" My eyebrows furrowed.
"Your coffee Alpha." Celine walked in with a tray of coffee.
She was looking a lot better than when she first got here. She's beautiful. I must say she walked towards where we were seated and carefully placed the tray. The morning sun hit her skin making it reflect wait a moment I wasn't supposed to be having this thought.
"I'll take my leave now." She bowed and left.
I was about to ask Scott about what he meant when I saw him looking at Celine with keen interest.
"Hey eyes off my mate!" Carl snapped.
"You said what?" Scott was facing me now looking confused, Carl must have said that out loud.
"Ohh I mean the date of the report." I coughed trying to give a reasonable explanation for my reaction now.
"I mean rogues are wolves that have strayed and their scent gives them off right?" I nodded at his explanation.
"But the ones that attacked are quite strange; they have a unique scent like they have an Alpha." Scott added.
"So you mean they don't smell rogue?" I sipped my coffee.
"Yes but they're rogues, there's more to this case." Scott rubbed his chin.
"What do the Crust Pack want?"
"They need reinforcement." Scott answered.
"That's not what they need,they need training." I stood up from my chair,Scott followed suit.
"Has Steel been informed?" I asked him.
"Steel is currently in the investment meeting with the council." Scott replied.
"Okay we'll be training them ourselves."I placed my hand on Scott's shoulder.
"Seriously Jake I just got back from the medevies." Scott sighed in frustration.
I know I'm not the regular good Alpha or brother but Steel and Scott have always been loyal; they were the ride or die friends I had.
"I Know I'll make it up to you." I dragged him outside.
"You better." He frowned.
Scott and I were away from the pack for three weeks training the Crust Pack members I had Steel taking charge of the Pack that's because he was the second in command the breach was worse than we predicted the rogues had blended in with the pack members making it difficult for us Scott was right their scent were completely different from the normal rogues and they were strong too.
We were able to fish them out thanks to the Alpha's mark,every pack member is supposed to have their pack mark on them so those that didn't have the mark were the ones we were looking for.
"We're good to go." Scott jogged to where I was standing,I was standing beside my black Mercedes.He had whined on us taking a Rolls Royce but I countered.
I didn't want the pack members to get a whiff that the Lycan King was in their pack; we just had to act like a neighboring Alpha.
"Alpha King, thank you very much for your support." The Alpha of the Crust Pack Alpha Richard came to thank me.
"My pleasure." I responded and entered my car. We were done with the matter and were heading back.
I had a lot of responsibility on my shoulders. I was not only the Alpha to my pack but another pack who needed help,I took on the title of the Lycan King at a young age when my parents were murdered.
The training took all my emotions and feelings I did a lot of things,I was the strongest of all the Alpha and I know many are after the position of the Lycan that's why I can't have Celine as my mate because she's weak.If they can get to her they can get to me that's why I don't need her I sighed and looked outside.
"You good?" Scott asked.
"I'll be fine." I rested my head and tried to get some sleep.
"Jake you're back!" Belle came from behind me and hugged me. I had just got back from the shower.
"Yeah." I tried to free her grip on my waist.
"I've missed you." Anabelle made her moves and worked through my body.
My body reacted and I gave in to her.I made out with Anabelle. We were both panting. She was excited but I felt numb. The experience wasn't like before.
"Jake you gotta come out." Chloe knocked harshly,I could hear her panicked voice.
"Don't go." Anabelle tried to stop me from getting up.
"What do you mean,it might be important." I got up and opened the door.
"What's up Chloe, don't you have time?" I frowned at her.
"It's Celine, she lost consciousness!"
