Cassie slowly opened her eyes. Sunlight seeped through the gaps in the window curtains, greeting her warmly. Her body felt light, as if all the burdens and exhaustion that had weighed her down were gone. She blinked several times, taking in her surroundings. This was her bedroom, familiar and comforting. There were no signs of a temple, darkness, or battle. Only quiet, calm peace.
Cassie sat up in bed, feeling like she had slept for ages. As she tried to recall what had happened, her mind drew a blank. No images of battles, darkness, or evil forces trying to destroy her surfaced. It all felt like a distant, fading dream, far removed from reality.

Just then, there was a knock at her door.
