The students who had dashed out early in the morning, after a half-lap burst, slowed down as though by mutual agreement, propping their waists and running lopsidedly like elderly with mobility issues. Only Qian Sisi kept up a steady pace unaffected, and although she only started when the others had completed a large portion of the lap, she caught up with most of the distance runners by the second lap. By the third lap, she had left everyone far behind, reaching the finish line effortlessly.
A first-year junior reached the finish line second and seeing that Qian Sisi didn't seem the least bit out of breath, she was so impressed she almost worshipped the ground Qian Sisi walked on. It took a while for her to catch her breath and recover from her oxygen-deprived state before she approached Qian Sisi and asked, "Senior, how are you so amazing that you don't even pant after running 1200 meters?"
Qian Sisi blinked and fanned her gradually reddening cheeks, amazed, "But I do pant..."
