Laoda smacked his lips, quite moved as he asked, "Well... I was just wondering, your car... seems really expensive!"
Shang Chi couldn't help it and burst out laughing, "Yeah, I borrowed it!"
"Huh?" Not just Laoda, but the jaws of the others nearly dropped to the ground as well.
Shang Chi wasn't surprised by their reaction at all and asked them seriously, "As a teacher, driving a car like this, isn't it a bit too flashy?"
Laoda raised his hand and repeated the point he had used earlier to convince Qian Sisi, then added, "Mr. Shang, we believe that this car perfectly matches your demeanor and talent! It doesn't matter whether it's borrowed or not!"
"So you're saying this car is quite popular with you young girls?" Shang Chi said, his gaze naturally shifting toward Qian Sisi, as though he was waiting for her to speak.
