After eating and drinking his fill, William dragged the unconscious Albanian to the basement, disregarding the rough handling. He found a sturdy chair and tied him up securely with ropes before taking out his laptop and connecting to the internet.
Before long, Brian, Sam, and a middle-aged woman appeared on the screen. Although the woman looked worried, she forced a smile upon seeing William, despite her evident sadness.
William addressed the laptop, "This is the captive. Sam, see if you can find any information on him."
Sam, sitting at his computer, responded, "No problem, give me ten minutes. With a photo, it should be easy to find his records."
While Sam was searching, William spoke to Brian, "Brian, you know my methods. I'm not good at interrogations. If I do it, I'll just break this guy's limbs or shoot him in the hands and feet. After a dozen or so shots, hardly anyone can hold out."
"Oh God," the woman beside Brian covered her mouth in horror upon hearing William's words.
William jokingly said, "Did you guys recruit a new member? And such a beautiful one too."
Brian smiled slightly and said, "Sorry, William, I forgot to introduce you. This is Ginny's mother, my ex-wife. She insisted on coming along out of worry. William, this is Lenore. Lenore, this is William."
"Hi, Lenore, nice to meet you," William greeted.
"Nice to meet you too, William. Thank you for your help. Please, you must find Ginny. I can't imagine what I'd do if I lost her. Oh God," Lenore started to cry, and Brian quickly comforted his ex-wife.
William said to the screen, "Don't worry, Lenore. As long as Ginny is still in Europe, we'll find her. Look, I just rescued Amanda, and now we've captured one of the masterminds. We'll find Ginny soon, don't worry."
Suddenly, Sam said, "I found him. This guy is Marco. His father is Murad. Murad has four sons, and these guys are the main culprits behind the recent disappearances of women in Europe. Marco arrived in France six months ago. We've caught a big fish. Maybe we can use him to trade for Ginny."
William nodded, and Brian thought for a moment before saying, "But we need to ask Marco where Ginny is first."
"Exactly. Let's have William interrogate him," Sam suggested.
"William, I remember there are special electric clamps in the house. You can try using electric shocks. In my experience, few people can endure that," Brian said.
"Okay, I'll look for them," William nodded. It didn't take long to find the electric clamps and some long iron nails on a table.
After connecting the clamps to a power source, William approached Marco and slapped him hard, "Wake up, wake up, buddy. Hey, wake up." Seeing Marco still groggy, William didn't waste any more time and directly inserted two long iron nails into Marco's legs.
"Ahh!" The intense pain instantly woke Marco up, and he struggled violently, but his hands and feet were tied securely by William, leaving him only able to shake the chair.
William slapped him again, "Wake up now?"
Marco glared at the masked man in front of him, the pain making his nerves tense. He looked around, then at the nails in his legs, wishing he could kill William. His face contorted with anger and defiance, he said, "Let me go, or you'll face our revenge. We'll kill your entire family, men, women, and children. We have thousands of clansmen in Europe. You can't escape; they will hunt you down."
William ignored Marco's threats. He didn't care. If they came, he would kill them. Besides, they needed to know who did it first.
He clipped the electric clamps to the nails in Marco's legs and said, "This is a safe house. There are no other residents around except for a construction site, which hasn't been in operation recently. So, even if you scream, no one will come. Come on, buddy, I've never seen someone electrocuted before. Maybe you'll get cooked. Let's give it a try, shall we?"
He walked over to the switch and said to Marco, "Let's test it out," and then he pressed the switch.
The electric current traveled through the clamps and nails into Marco's body. He could only endure for four or five seconds before his veins bulged, and he screamed, "Ahh!"
On the other side of the computer, Lenore was terrified by Marco's agony and turned her head away. Fortunately, her thoughts were entirely on her daughter, Ginny, so she didn't act out. She just clenched the couch tightly, lips pursed, silent. She knew why William and Brian were doing this.
Seeing Brian watching her nervously, Lenore shook her head, indicating she didn't want to leave. She needed to know about her daughter's situation immediately.
After about ten seconds, William turned off the power and said to Marco, "How do you feel now? Have you experienced pain yet? Have you thought about the girls you kidnapped? Each of them has parents and families. Every time you kidnap a girl, a family is torn apart. Worse, you treat them like livestock, injecting them with white powder. How many beautiful girls have died because of you in the past six months? Buddy, I may not be a good person, but compared to scum like you, I'm practically a saint."
"Spit!" Marco spat at William. Luckily, William was standing five or six meters away, avoiding the spit, but it still irritated him. He coldly smiled and pressed the switch again.
The basement echoed with Marco's painful screams. This time, his voice grew hoarse, a raspy howl filling everyone's ears.
After less than ten seconds, Marco wet himself, and a sizzling sound came from his legs, like something being cooked.
This time, Marco didn't try to act tough. He howled, "I'll talk! I'll talk! Who the hell are you looking for?"
Facing someone as ruthless as William, who didn't follow any rules and used electric shocks right away, Marco couldn't hold out after two rounds.
William knew scum like Marco were bullies who caved under pressure. Disappointed that Marco cracked so quickly, he thought about showing him a photo. Then he remembered Marco's earlier spit and decided against getting too close. He walked over to the laptop and said, "Send a photo for Marco to see."
Sam quickly said, "Got it."
Within seconds, Sam sent a photo of Ginny. William made it full screen and showed it to Marco, "You kidnapped this girl yesterday, right?"
Marco nodded fearfully.
"Good. See, isn't this better? You answer my questions, and you don't have to suffer, and I save energy. Now, Marco, yesterday someone arrogantly told us 'good luck.' Come on, buddy, say it for us. Let's see if it was you."
Marco was dumbfounded by William's words. Damn, these guys were so fierce that they tracked them down within two days. What kind of monsters had he provoked?
