As they sailed back to the island Anne felt a feeling of satisfaction rise over her. She had never felt so seen and loved before. Minor is kind and generous. By always putting her needs before your own.
As they returned to the island Ann turned to Minor with a smile. "Thank you for this adventure," she said, her voice dripping with emotion. "I have never felt so alive before."
Minor smiled back at her. His eyes crinkled at the corners. "You're welcome," he said. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. We make a good team."
Anne's heart skipped a beat as she realized what Minor was conveying. She felt like she was falling in love with him all over again. This time it was more profound than before.
Together they unloaded and Minor moved the ship to storage. Minor lights a bonfire on the beach. Ann brought a cloth to lay down and look at the stars.
