Chapter 17 - Lost Ox

Ethan walked out of the room, feeling a sense of unease. As he walked down the hallway, he noticed Ann walking towards him. She was alone, and her eyes seemed to be searching for something.

"Hey, Ann," Ethan said, trying to sound casual.

Ann stopped in her tracks, looking at him with a hint of surprise. "Hey, Ethan," she said.

Ethan nodded. "I was just going to take a walk outside. Care to join me?"

Ann hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, sure."

As they walked towards the stream, Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He had been trying to get closer to Ann for weeks, and now he had his chance.

The stream was peaceful, the water flowing gently over the rocks. Ethan sat down on a nearby rock, gesturing for Ann to join him.

As Ann sat down beside him, Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of closeness. He reached out and brushed a strand of hair out of her face, his fingers touching her skin.

"Hey, Ann," he said, his voice low and husky.

Ann looked up at him, her eyes locked onto his. "Yeah?"

Ethan leaned in close, his breath hot on her skin. "You're really beautiful," he said.

Ann's eyes fluttered closed, and Ethan felt a surge of excitement. He leaned in closer, his lips inches from hers.

But then, Ann opened her eyes and pulled back. "Ethan, what are you doing?" she asked.

Ethan felt a pang of disappointment. He had been trying to get close to her for weeks, and now she was pulling away.

"I'm just trying to get to know you better," he said, trying to sound innocent.

Ann looked at him skeptically. "You're trying to flirt with me," she said.

Ethan felt his face heat up. He had been trying to deny it, but now it seemed like Ann had caught him red-handed.

But then, Ethan saw something in Ann's eyes. It was a spark of attraction, a hint of desire. And he knew that he had to take advantage of it.

"Come on, Ann," he said, his voice low and persuasive. "Let's just enjoy the moment."

And with that, Ethan leaned in closer, his lips crashing against Ann's in a passionate kiss.

As they kissed, Ethan and Ann couldn't help but think about their past. They had both been models and photographers in the past, and they had shared some memorable moments together. As they pulled back, gasping for air, Ann looked at Ethan with a hint of nostalgia.

As they chatted, they walked further along the stream, their footsteps quiet on the rocks. They talked about their past experiences as models and photographers, sharing stories and laughter.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape, Ethan turned to Ann with a serious expression. "That shooting on the beach , I decided to make it last photography career. But If we can go back.I've been thinking about getting back into travel photography," he said.

Ann raised an eyebrow. "Really? What made you think about that?"

Ethan shrugged. "I don't know. I just felt like I was missing something. And then I saw you again... and it all came flooding back. Will we travel around the world together,"

Ann looked at him with a hint of curiosity. "You want to get back into photography because of me?"

Ethan hesitated, feeling a pang of uncertainty. "Maybe," he said finally.

Ann smiled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, I think that's a great idea," she said.

And with that, Ethan felt a surge of excitement and hope. He knew that he still had feelings for Ann, and he was determined to explore them further.

As they walked back to the cave, Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. He knew that he had to be careful, but he couldn't help but feel drawn to Ann once again.

But as they entered the cave, they were met with an eerie silence. The fire was out, and the darkness seemed to press in around them. Ann and Ethan looked at each other nervously, wondering what could have happened.

"Where is Minor?" Ann asked, her voice barely above a whisper.Ethan shook his head. "I don't know," he said. "But we need to find out."

They began to search the cave, calling out for anyone who might be there. But there was no response. The silence was oppressive, and Ann and Ethan couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.

As they searched, they stumbled upon signs of a struggle. Rocks were overturned, and debris was scattered everywhere. It was clear that something had happened, but what?
