The cave was silent except for the sound of Ethan's gentle murmurs as he worked to save Ann's life. Minor stood by the fire pit, his eyes cast down at the ground, too ashamed to look up
As the darkness closed in around them, Ann smiled softly at Ethan. She knew that she was going to be okay, because she was with him. And as her eyes closed for the last time, Ethan held her close, his heart heavy with grief and loss.
Minor nodded, his eyes filling with tears. " Just please, Ann, don't leave me."
"I need you to get me out of here," she whispered to Ethan again, her voice weak and desperate.
As Minor walk away, She saw the guilt and shame still etched on his face, and she knew that she had a long way to go before she could ever forgive him.Ethan sat beside Ann on the bed, his eyes gazing out at the candles. "Remember that day we went to the beach and took pictures?" he asked, his voice wistful.
Ann's eyes lit up, and she smiled. "Of course, how could I forget? We had so much fun."
Ethan's eyes turned back to hers, his expression serious. "And then we wandered into the woods, and found Minor's cave. "
Ann's smile faltered, and she looked away, her voice barely above a whisper. "Ethan, what are you trying to say?"
Ethan's eyes locked onto hers, his voice direct. "I'm saying that I've noticed you and Minor have been spending a lot of time together. And I want to know... do you have a relationship with him?"
Ann's eyes snapped back to his, her face flushing with embarrassment. "Yes, Ethan," she admitted quietly. "We're together."
Ethan's face fell, his eyes clouding over with sadness. For a moment, he just sat there, lost in thought. Then, he stood up, his movements stiff and mechanical.
"I see," he said finally, his voice heavy with emotion.
Ann got up too, her eyes filled with concern. "Ethan, I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
Ethan's face twisted in a mixture of pain and anger. "You didn't mean to hurt me?" he repeated, his voice rising in incredulity. "You're having an affair with my best friend behind my back?"
Ann's eyes dropped, shame written all over her face. "I'm sorry, Ethan," she whispered again. The tension between them was palpable, and for a moment, they just stood there, the only sound the waves crashing against the shore.
Then, Ann's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. "But you know what?" she said, her voice lightening the mood.
Ethan raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself. "What?"
Ann smiled slyly. "I think we can still have some fun together. You know, before everything gets complicated."
Ethan's eyes narrowed, but he couldn't help being drawn in by her playful energy. He nodded slowly, and Ann reached out to take his hand.
And with that, they began to made out, their movements fluid and sensual as they lost themselves in the moment.
