As night began to fall, Liam became concerned as Kai hadn't spoken a word since they left the house they decided to purchase. He tapped his fingers against the sofa's arm and pushed up his glasses as he glanced at the closed bathroom door. The blonde had decided to bathe and had been in there for several hours. He began to worry that maybe he fell asleep, slipped under the water, and drowned under a sea of bubbles.
Liam sighed. He had to go check. He slowly opened the door and stepped inside. He saw Kai with his shoulders hunched forward, his chin propped up on the side of the tub, and green eyes closed tight.
"Are you asleep?" As he took a seat against the wall next to the tub, Liam asked.
"I'm taking this bath, but all I can think about are the jets in the huge bathtub at that house," Kai began. "It's sad. This tub is sad. Shower tubs are for the birds."
Liam chuckled and stroked the back of Kai's head. "Why did you climb in the tub then?"
