Kai woke up early, for once in his adult life, as he had been too excited to sleep well. Liam was snuggled against his side, their fingers laced together. He loved that. They would get to have that forever now. Liam stirred awake, nuzzling Kai's neck and squeezing his hand tighter.
"Good morning," Liam murmured into Kai's hair.
"Morning," Kai responded, turning and giving Liam a quick kiss before pulling away. "Are you ready to go get married?"
"Yes," Liam smiled, leaning over to kiss Kai. "I've been waiting for this day for a long time."
"I have too," Kai agreed, his heart beating faster with anticipation. "I love you so much."
"I love you too," Liam said, kissing Kai's cheek. "We'll need to explain it to Michael. I think he'll be excited. We won't invite anyone, only the three of us will know for awhile," he said with a mischievous grin. "But, we should go out tonight after. Dinner. Our first date as husbands."
