Aiden. Kai needed to speak to Mika about the man she had become engaged to, but when she came back to pick up Michael, she bad said man in tow with her. It was incredibly frustrating for both him and Liam.
Kai plopped on the bed and groaned. He sent her a text message, asking if there were a time he could speak with her alone—without her man.
"Why do you need to talk to me alone?" She responded.
He didn't know if she was with him, and he could read her text messages. It already probably seemed suspicious enough that he had asked her that question if he saw the text message.
"Please."
He sighed with relief when she sent a message back agreeing to come over at noon the following day.
Kai closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep. Despite his stress, he consistently found it easy to fall asleep.
