"Kai," Sam sighed over the phone after he answered it. "I first wanted to tell you I'm sorry..."
"Thank you for apologizing."
"Would you be willing to talk to me for a moment?"
Kai glanced over at Liam. He noticed his fiancée had a frown tugging on his lips, but despite his expression, he nodded.
"Sure."
"I really meased up," her voice was shaky as she spoke. "Jayden and I got into a huge fight. S-She told me to leave, so I've just been sitting at a park since this morning. What should I do, Kai?"
Kai gasped. He realized Jayden seemed irritated at the pub, but he never expected the two would have such a large falling out.
"You can't go back home?"
"No. We live with Jayden's parents. They took the key. I don't understand. I guess I could get a hotel room, but I'm so damn devastated..."
