Kai stood in the kitchen, working hard to prepare dinner for Mika and Aiden. He was a little nervous about having them over to dinner, but he knew it would be a good thing to get to know the man she was going to get married to.
The potatoes were boiling in a giant pot and he had vegetables steaming in the rice cooker. He heard the shower turn off, which meant Liam had just finished with his bath.
"Liam," he called out.
He frowned when the taller man didn't answer him. He shrugged. They still had plenty of time, or at least he hoped they did.
There was a knock on the door.
"Oh, no, they're early," Kai mumbled to himself as he answered the door.
Mika and Aiden stood there, holding hands when he opened the door. It was still a little strange seeing his sister with a man she was supposedly engaged to, but he would grow to accept it. Aiden seemed nice enough and she appeared to be happy.
