It took some time, but Liam was able to eventually coax Kai out of the shower. He knew it wasn't good for his fiancé to just sit in the shower and suffer.
Liam led Kai to the bedroom. He ruffled the towel over his hair to dry it then gently brushed the blonde locks. He helped Kai get into a clean shirt and boxers then gently tucked him into bed.
Liam crawled into the bed next to him. His arms wrapped around his thin waist, pulling him close.
Kai nuzzled his head into Liam's chest his hands resting against the man's shirt, clutching the fabric. He couldn't help but to start crying again. It was so hard to deal with all the memories that returned and the guilt he felt for the things his brother had done to him. He was disgusted with himself. He had no idea how he could even look at himself anymore.
"Liam," Kai sniffled.
"Hmm," Liam hummed.
"Do you really want to marry someone like me?"
"Yes," Liam replied.
