After watching a movie with Brenda, Kai extended his arms and yawned.
"Oh, dear," Brenda smiled. "I think I overstayed my welcome."
"Nonesense," Kai smiled in her direction.
"He's always tired," Liam teased.
"It's true."
"That's no good," Brenda said, shaking her head. "Do you suffer from narcolepsy?"
"Maybe." Kai nodded. "It's probably because I work night shift."
"That makes sense," Brenda said as she stood up from the couch.
Both Liam and Kai also stood up. Both men gave her a quick hug and then walked her to the door.
"Brenda, will you be okay?" Kai asked.
"Thanks you, sweetheart. I will be fine."
"Let me give you my number," Kai said, pulling out his phone. "If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to call me."
Liam placed his hand over his chest and smiled. He knew he had made a good choice when he began dating Kai.
