While muttering under her breath, Sam stood up and hurriedly redressed herself. She pushed herself past Liam. She went into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
Liam could hear her sobbing into the phone, which indicated to him that she had made a phone call to Jayden.
Kai sat up in the bed and looked down to the floor. "Are you mad at me?"
"I'm just confused," Liam replied, taking a seat next to the smaller man. "Imagine if the roles were reversed."
"I'd be crying," Kai admitted.
"I'm sure you would."
Liam wrapped an arm around Kai's shoulder, pulling him close into a side hug. He sighed as his fingers gently massaged his fiancée's shoulder. "She has to leave."
"I know," Kai muttered.
"I didn't think she would try to basically sexually assault you." Liam glared in the direction of the bathroom.
"I-I don't know if I'd call it that."
"I definitely would."
