Kids were gross. Liam knew as much. But when Michael yelled out from the bathroom, the grossest of gross things had happened.
"My butt itches and this wiggly thing is one the toilet paper," Michael threw his arms in the air then dropped them to his sides dramatically. "This is so weird! Help me! This isn't normal."
The couple quickly stood from their bed and rushed to the bathroom, following Michael's loud cries of horror. Michael had the toilet paper in his hands. His nose scrunched up, and he held it far away from him as if it might explode. Kai snatched it away from his hands. Liam picked Michael up and looked at what had upset the child so much.
"Pinworms," Kai sighed.
Liam turned away from Michael so the kid wouldn't see his smile. Kai glanced at Liam, his brow raised. He shook his head in disapproval as Liam's chest heaved with laughter. He was laughing so hard it looked as if he was having a hard time breathing.
