New York, Felindale Restaurant
Eric leaned back in his chair, appearing as though he was enjoying his meal. In truth, however, it wasn't the food he was savoring.
Elin, hidden beneath the table, was engaging in an activity one might only expect in an adult movie. He could never have anticipated she'd surprise him in this way.
"This is what a true surprise is," he thought, struggling to suppress his moans.
Under the table, Elin skillfully used her tongue and soft hands, bringing him pleasure and making him feel caught between ice and fire.
A waiter, noticing that something seemed off, approached the table.
"Sir, do you need any assistance?"
Eric, quickly composing his expression, pressed his legs together to signal Elin to slow down.
"No, everything's fine. The food here is just incredibly delicious," he replied, hoping this would satisfy the waiter.
The waiter smiled. "Thank you for your feedback. It's a great honor for Felindale. We also recommend trying our signature cod."
"I think we have more than enough here already. We'll leave the cod for next time," Eric said, pointing to the remaining dishes.
"Very well, I hope you enjoy your meal. If you need anything, just call me."
The waiter left, but as he turned away, he heard Eric let out a soft gasp. He returned to the table.
"Sir, are you all right? Did you choke?"
Eric pretended to wipe his face with a napkin. "No, no, everything's fine. Just spilled a bit of sauce. Thank you for your concern."
As the waiter walked away, Eric finally sighed in relief. Elin, hearing the waiter approach, had nipped him, almost making him lose his composure.
Realizing he needed to teach her a lesson, he discreetly reached under the table and gave her a light slap on the cheek.
"Ouch!" she yelped.
The sound caught the attention of the elderly couple at the neighboring table. The elderly man and woman looked at Eric with surprise, glancing around to figure out where the noise had come from.
"Dear, I think I heard a strange sound," the woman said.
"Yes, it sounded like something too," her husband replied.
They shrugged and went back to their meal, while Eric, too embarrassed to move, continued eating.
"All right, enough. Get out," he whispered to Elin.
"I'm not coming out until you come out!" she replied in a whisper audible only to him.
"All right, all right, I'll try."
Eric attempted to focus on his food but was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Eric, what are you doing here?"
He looked up to see Liu Xiaoli and her daughter, Liu Yifei, approaching. Both looked happily surprised.
"What an unexpected meeting!" Liu Xiaoli said with a smile. "We haven't seen each other in ages, only exchanged a few messages."
"Yes, it's quite surprising. How are you here in New York? I thought you were in China," Eric replied, trying to hide his embarrassment.
"There's a special situation in China," Liu Xiaoli sighed. "We can't stay there long, so we came to visit Feifei's grandmother."
She nudged her daughter. "Feifei, why are you so quiet? Say hello to Eric."
Liu Yifei, slightly embarrassed, extended her hand.
"Hello, Mr. Cooper. It's nice to see you again."
"Hi, Crystal."
Standing, etiquette dictated that Eric should get up and shake her hand. But in his current state, standing would mean more than just being polite—it would be a complete display.
Fortunately, his status allowed him to remain seated, and Liu Xiaoli and her daughter didn't seem bothered.
"Feifei, don't call him Mr. Cooper. Just call him Eric, like I do. Don't be shy," Liu Xiaoli smiled.
Eric nodded. "It's all right. I prefer first names too."
"All right, Eric."
Liu Xiaoli continued, "You know, after our last conversation, I hired a professional martial arts instructor for Feifei. Now, besides her acting lessons, she practices kung fu for an hour every day. She's already learned a few routines."
Liu Yifei modestly added, "Mom, the teacher says they're just pretty moves, just showmanship."
"So what? Jackie Chan and Jet Li were also showmen at first. Eric, are you sure you're all right? Are your eyes hurting?"
Eric, trying to smile, responded, "No, no, everything's fine. In martial arts, looking good on screen is more important than real fighting."
"Eric, are you really all right?"
"Yes, yes, everything's fine. How about this—we'll meet another time and chat more. Your waiter is calling you; your table is ready."
Liu Xiaoli nodded happily. "Great, you suggested it, don't forget."
"Of course. Enjoy your dinner; the food here is excellent."
When they left, Eric breathed a sigh of relief. He'd prefer not to see them again, but for now, it was essential to regain control of the situation.
He tapped on the table and whispered, "Elin, get out."
Receiving the signal, she quickly emerged from under the table, her face flushed. Despite her quick exit, the elderly man at the neighboring table noticed her. In his sixties, he immediately understood what had happened.
Seeing the surprise on his face, Eric took Elin by the hand and stood up, ready to leave. Passing by the table of Liu Xiaoli and Liu Yifei, he nodded to them, while Elin flashed Liu Xiaoli a mischievous smile, licking her lips to suggest she might have noticed their little escapade.
After dinner, they headed to a nearby theater. At the ticket counter, Eric pointed to the poster for The Matrix: Reloaded.
"How about this movie?" he asked.
Elin nodded. "Sure. There's nothing here that I really like, anyway."
"What do you like?"
"I'm not really into movies."
"Then maybe we should just leave?"
"It's okay. I like the theater atmosphere. It makes us look like a real couple."
"Not just look like one, my dear. You just did something only lovers do," Eric replied with a grin.
Elin smiled back. "Eric, it's always nice to hear your words, but I know there's an age gap between us. I could be your older sister, your aunt, but never your lover."
"Ashley and Mary suit you better. If you manage to end up with either of them, I'd be delighted."
"What if I want both?" Eric asked with a cheeky smile.
Elin playfully poked him on the forehead. "Don't be so greedy, young man. You already have plenty."
"But that's who I am. A man without ambition is no man at all. I want not just two, but a third and a fourth as well!"
Saying this, Eric gave Elin's backside a gentle squeeze.
"Ouch! That hurt! Who do you want as the third?"
"Why, you, of course. You're my precious; you're completely different from Ashley and Mary."
"And who will be the fourth?"
Eric shrugged, didn't respond, took the tickets, and led her into the theater.
They picked seats near the back, but the theater was almost full, even though the movie was already in its second week.
A couple sat in front of them, and a few young people nearby were loudly discussing the plot.
"You still haven't told me who you want as the fourth," she pressed.
"It was just a joke. Don't take it seriously."
"Don't lie to me. If there were no intention, you wouldn't have said it out loud. Let me guess, it's her, isn't it?"
Elin leaned over and whispered a name in Eric's ear.
"Oh my gosh! You have such a dirty mind!"
Elin smirked. "Looks like I guessed right. Eric Cooper, you sneaky scoundrel. You want little Elizabeth? Are you planning to claim all the Olsens?"
Eric silenced her with a kiss. "Keep it down. Do you want the whole world to know? Don't assume your guesses are correct. I see little Elizabeth as a talented younger sister. I just want to help her grow."
"'Help her grow?' Fine, I'll remember that. Just don't 'grow' her into your bed."
"I promise I won't. Deal?"
The movie began, and the Warner Bros. emblem appeared on the screen.
Seeing that symbol reminded Eric of his plans. He still dreamed of buying back the rights to Tom and Jerry. Classic films like Gone with the Wind or Ben-Hur held artistic value, but they lacked commercial potential.
If he could buy back the rights to Tom and Jerry, he'd be willing to pay any price.
The Matrix: Reloaded was his favorite in the trilogy. He loved both the action and the plot. Even after multiple viewings, the film remained captivating.
Meanwhile, Elin was growing bored, yawning and frowning.
"Eric, I'm bored. This isn't for me. Let's leave."
Eric looked at her, bewildered. "Are you serious? You were the one who suggested coming to the movies. At least let me finish watching this scene."
He pointed at the screen, where the highway chase scene with the ghostly twins was underway.
"But I don't understand anything. Tell me something to keep me awake."
"Are you serious? You come to a movie and want me to tell you the story? You must be joking!"
"Will you or won't you?" She teasingly pinched his leg.
"All right, all right. What do you want to hear? Just make it quick."
"Tell me how you ended up with Ashley and Mary."
"What?"
"Come on, tell me everything!"
Meanwhile, far away in Los Angeles, the Olsen sisters were relaxing at a beauty salon.
The phone rang, and Mary answered it.
After a quick conversation, she turned to her sister with a smile. "Ashley, Eric didn't lie to us. Elin really did spot him in New York."
"Was he alone?"
"Yes, he was alone, meeting with a Hasbro executive."
Ashley smiled. "Now you can relax. I told you Eric wouldn't lie to us."
Mary nodded. "That's a great idea. If Eric goes to New York, we can ask Elin to keep an eye on him. She'll be our little spy."
The sisters, in great spirits, continued enjoying their day.
