They arrived at a huge mansion, with three floors and a big garden (this was mostly because of their grandparents, they didn't give much value to money and used it however they wanted without hesitation). Immediately a dog arrived. It was a Golden Retriever, Kiiro (if you want to criticise someone for lack of imagination, criticise Kenji, not me, I'm just the one telling the story), which belonged to Kei's older brother. It smelled him and started jumping around, happy. I honestly think it was cute, but unfortunately in one minute both Kei and Sakura were dirty from head to toe, bringing dirt inside. The house seemed even bigger after trespassing the door, with a corridor connected to various rooms after the entrance, where you could find the stairs. It was dinner time, so everybody was in the dining room. Kei was hesitant. He still met his father sometimes to eat lunch together and other similar occasions, but for the rest of his family it was another story. He was able to chat at ease with his younger sister because his friends were with him, otherwise he would have been hesitant and unsure. Now all of his siblings were together. The ones with who in the last five years Kei had at most five conversation, between which most of them couldn't be called a conversation, but rather an exchange of words between acquaintances. Now he was feeling awkward even with his beloved big sister, cursing his friends in his mind 'Why did you have to suspect her weirdly like that? Why~!'. When they entered the room, they found a long table where there were sitting five people. Kei's father, Michael (he wasn't one hundred percent Japanese, as you might guess), was smiling warmly at him, although when his wife, came he lost all of his dignity and ran towards her, resembling Kiiro. Kei's sister welcomed him in a friendly way too, starting to put pasta in the plate next to hers, keeping the place for him (for who knows the reason, because there were only two places free, and the other one was next to Michael, who wouldn'thave allowed anyoneto sit but his wife). Kenji was looking at him thinking 'Was he my brother or my childhood friend? I forgot'. Weird, I know, but I guess I'm a bit at fault too. Aoki seemed happy, but was trying to hide it with what was supposed to be a grumpy face, while Yuki was waving her hand, but at the same time she was rummaging in her pocket, trying to take out a candy without her strict one year older 'twin' (who obviously wasn't a twin) to notice. Kei and Sakura sitted at their respective chairs, Sakura starting a conversation with her overwhelming energy and Kei looking down unsure about how to behave. Suddenly Kenji asked exactly what was on his mind before. Kei had decided not to give satisfaction to his brother through his reaction, but then he noticed the strange atmosphere, his parents interrupting their conversation for a moment with worried expressions and his other siblings with a forced laughter. Once again, Kei wondered what was going on. Then his big sister intervened, trying to start a more relaxing conversation. Ended the dinner, they all went to bed. Kei then fell asleep.
