On a desolate stretch of road, with the ground marred by jagged cracks and the remnants of shattered buildings strewn about, a young man of imposing stature limped forward, a look of exhaustion and agony etched across his face. He pressed on, desperate to evade his relentless pursuers.
"Black Bear, stop running! Surrender your points, and we'll grant you clemency!" The leader of the pursuers bellowed from behind. He has a similar build to Black Bear, trailed by a group of seven others.
"Gerrald, do you take me for a fool? What good is your clemency if it means forfeiting my points and failing this trial?" Black Bear retorted, his gaze fixed ahead.
"The trial still has three days remaining. You could gather more points from abyssal creatures in that time!" Gerrald reasoned.
"Piss off!" Black Bear snapped, incensed: "Why don't you just hunt those points from abyssal creatures instead of robbing me of mine!"
