Elijah's pov ;
The room felt calm, designed to be as soothing as possible with soft lighting and comfortable chairs. I sat a bit farther from Ash, giving him space but staying close enough to support him. Dr. Taylor sat opposite Ash, her face full of warmth and understanding.
"Good afternoon, Ash," Dr. Taylor began. "How are you feeling today?"
Ash shifted uncomfortably in his seat, his eyes flicking over to me for reassurance before he answered. "I'm…okay, I guess."
"That's good to hear," Dr. Taylor said, her tone gentle. "I understand this might be a bit uncomfortable for you, but don't worry. You can talk about anything here."
Ash nodded slightly, but still not entirely at ease.
"Can you tell me a little about your day-to-day life, Ash? What do you enjoy doing?" She asked, and I felt like she was trying to ease him into the conversation.
