Elijah's intense gaze landed on the staff member, causing her to freeze in fear and surprise. Her eyes widened, and she stumbled backward, stammering out an apology while her face turned red in humiliation. "S-sir, I-"
"Shut up," he snapped extremely brutally, his voice laced with fury as he cut her off. She flinched at his harsh tone, but tried to explain herself again.
However, Elijah wasn't having it. "You have some nerve, saying those things. Do you even know who you're speaking to?"
I was taken aback by Elijah's sudden loss of temper. The girls standing next to me visibly trembled with fear.
The rude girl who had been glaring at me before now shook her head furiously, desperately trying to apologise. "S-sir, I didn't mean it, I-I-"
"I don't care what you meant," Elijah interrupted coldly. "I've heard enough. Call your manager. Right now."
