The men sneered, one of them stepping forward. "This isn't your business, pal. Get lost if you know what's good for you."
Ryder just chuckled, shaking his head. "Oh, but it is my business. You see, this poor guy here is mine, and I'm not really in the mood to share."
Before they could react, Ryder moved with surprising speed, his playful demeanor dropping as he lunged at them. He threw a punch, landing it squarely on the first man's jaw, sending him crashing to the floor. The second man tried to retaliate, but Ryder was quicker, delivering a swift kick to his stomach that had him doubling over in pain.
