[General Korov]
[Dream Engine]
Elara wakes up in a mystical void. She is currently dreaming.
A woman in a brown steampunk outfit from the 1800s walks over and introduces herself as Klara. Klara tells Elara that she is the controller of dreams across Non-existence.
Elara asks,
"Are you some kind of God?"
Klara laughs at the question.
"I am somewhat of a God," she responds. "God of dreams, I suppose."
Elara says,
"That's cool! Now, what exactly am I here for?"
Klara replies,
"You are dreaming. However, I have something to show you."
Klara manipulates the dream, and they go to "the future."
[The Future]
Both of them hover over a school as Klara shows Elara the future. Elara sees the school, which looks normal at first glance, but then she notices soldiers in strange outfits bossing people around.
Elara asks,
"Who are they?"
Klara says, "The Invasion Force. I cannot reveal many details, but your nation—no, your world—is in danger. Prepare, Elara. You are one of their only hopes."
[Back to Reality]
Stacia kicks Elara, waking her up.
Elara exclaims,
"Ow! What the hell, Stacia?"
Stacia says,
"Come on! We're almost late for school!"
Elara responds,
"Oh! Okay!"
As she gets ready, Elara thinks about her dream but decides not to mention it to anyone, fearing it might be a grave mistake.
[Later…]
[Religion-Hall]
The first section is devoted to Mystara, the Goddess of Magic. This area exudes an enchanting atmosphere, with walls adorned in deep purples and shimmering golds. Intricate tapestries depict scenes of spellcasting and mystical creatures, while enchanted candles float mid-air, casting a gentle, otherworldly glow. In the center stands a magnificent statue of Mystara, her figure poised gracefully with a staff in hand, emanating a soft, radiant light. Surrounding the statue, students and visitors can find spellbooks, enchanted artifacts, and offering bowls for tokens of appreciation and devotion.
[Section for Lolibaba, the Goddess of Speed and Creation]
The second section is dedicated to Lolibaba, the Goddess of Speed and Creation. This area is vibrant and dynamic, reflecting her powers. The walls are painted with vivid, swirling patterns that seem to move and shift, symbolizing speed and creativity. At the heart of this section stands a striking statue of Lolibaba, captured mid-motion, her form exuding an aura of boundless energy and potential. Around her, displays of her creations—from intricate artifacts to breathtaking artworks—are showcased. Visitors can engage with interactive exhibits that demonstrate her speed and creative prowess, inspiring awe and admiration.
[Religion-Hall]
As Elara, Stacia, and Nyx walk through the hall, Nyx says,
"You guys look like you've never seen this place before."
Stacia replies,
"I haven't been here too often, so I'm unfamiliar with it."
Elara adds,
"I haven't been here at all! What is this place, Nyx?"
Nyx explains,
"It's to support the two major religions of our region: Lolism and Maism. Lolists support the Goddess Lolibaba, though they use her given name, Nora. Maists support the Goddess of Magic and are very focused on magical studies. Are you non-religious, Elara?"
Elara responds, "Indeed! I do not participate in religion."
Nyx says, "Ah, okay. Well, we should probably get going. It's getting late."
Stacia notes, "It's only about 9 o'clock."
Nyx counters,
"We have other important things to do while we're here. So come on."
The trio moves on to the next area.
[Later…]
The trio arrives in a room filled with Lolibaba decorations. They have entered a place where Lolibaba is not just a deity but an icon, a role model, and a personality. It resembles a "cult" of Nora.
The trio feels uneasy about the "cult" within their school. Nyx assures them it's fine and that they aren't real cultists. However, someone dressed exactly like Lolibaba, including white body paint mimicking her Goddess skin, approaches them.
Elara remarks,
"This is a bit too much, isn't it?"
Stacia agrees, saying,
"Man, this is pretty weird. Can we leave?"
Nyx insists,
"No, we must stay. We still have important things to do."
The person in Lolibaba cosplay says,
"Do not disrespect me in the house of Nora, or you shall be punished by Nora herself!"
[Meanwhile]
Lolibaba and Mama Multiverse are lying in bed together in their apartment. Lolibaba says,
"Honey, I heard my name being called."
Mama Multiverse asks,
"Hm? Who might it be?"
Lolibaba replies,
"Don't know, don't care, but it was something about the house of Nora."
Mama Multiverse responds,
"Some religious people. My daughter lives in that cosmology now."
Lolibaba says,
"The Magical Universe isn't just a place in Non-Existence? Interesting. Does it host its own four superpowers?"
Mama Multiverse replies,
"It's probably too small for that. But there could be. My daughter is probably the strongest thing there. I heard she's doing a teaching job. Your daughter is, uh... alive but not in good shape."
Lolibaba responds,
"I know. Can't do anything about it. It's her duty to live. If things get that bad, I'll step in. If not, then she'll be fine. Of course, your daughter and my daughter will never admit that they're both very much in love with each other. But it's whatever. I'm going to go lightning strike somebody."
Mama Multiverse nods and goes back to sleep.
[Meanwhile]
Lolibaba appears out of nowhere and lightning strikes the cosplayer. She then says, "Nora has spoken!" Turning to Elara, she adds, "Nice hat."
Lolibaba recreates the hat and places it on her head.
"Hmm, kid, give me your hat," she says. Elara, surprised, complies because it's Lolibaba.
Lolibaba signs the hat and says,
"Look out for my girlfriend's daughter, Foxina. Bye-bye!" She then runs away.
Everyone is in shock. A crowd of people rushes to talk to Elara. Elara is dumbfounded, realizing that was the real Lolibaba and wondering if Professor Foxina might be Lolibaba's stepdaughter.
Stacia attempts to regain control of the situation, and they all leave the building. The cosplayer starts to wonder if Elara is a prophet.
[Later…]
As the trio settles into their dorm, Elara takes off her hat and puts it somewhere safe. She knows that the hat has become a significant religious item.
Nyx sits down and watches TV while Stacia goes to study. Elara, new to the place, has met a lot of people and made a few friends. She goes to the kitchen and starts eating random food from the refrigerator.
Stacia tells Elara not to eat everything in the apartment. Elara reminds Stacia that she's wealthy enough to live with the nobles.
Stacia sighs,
"That is true, I suppose. You still shouldn't eat too much, though!"
Elara laughs it off and then drifts off to sleep.
[Meanwhile]
Foxina, having just finished a "metaphysical" phone call with her mother, feels slightly embarrassed upon hearing that Lolibaba visited. She sits outside, reflecting on her past life and her current situation. She prays to Lolibaba, asking her to bring her daughter back. Due to her omnipresence, Lolibaba drops a letter.
The letter reads: "Don't worry, Foxina. Madrina is in safe hands. I'll handle it, okay? And if you're so worried about Madrina, remember that the world you're in is about to face a crisis! So protect this world before returning to your old one. Kay?"
Foxina gets up and leaves, planning to return the next day to handle her errands.
