Chapter 90 - Feast

As the morning sun cast a warm glow over Lydia's castle, the aftermath of the battle became more apparent. Seraphine and I, still feeling the lingering effects of our recent victory, knew there was more to be done. The soldiers who had fought alongside us deserved recognition and care, and we were determined to provide it.

We dressed quickly, choosing comfortable clothes that allowed us to move freely. As we made our way through the castle, we encountered a few soldiers who nodded respectfully, their faces showing signs of fatigue but also relief. It was a quiet morning, the air filled with a sense of calm after the storm.

Our first stop was the makeshift infirmary set up in one of the castle's grand halls. The room was filled with rows of beds, some occupied by soldiers with bandaged wounds, others resting after the long night. Healers moved among them, their hands glowing with soft magic as they tended to the injured.
