The bachelorette party was off to a good start even before we'd settled into our separate groups.
Ciara, Seraphine, and Aurelia headed out, dressed up and ready to tackle one of the most popular demon bars in town, while Lydia, Aeliana, and I decided to stay back at the castle.
Aeliana was already brewing up cocktails from whatever she'd scavenged from the kitchen jars of glowing demon fruit, a dash of something spicy, and, knowing her, a few mystery ingredients.
"Alright, first rule of the night," Aeliana announced, swirling a dark, sparkling drink in a goblet, "is no rules." She grinned at us, eyes gleaming with mischief.
I raised an eyebrow, feeling both amused and slightly wary. "So, I take it that means you're in charge?"
"Oh, you bet," Lydia chimed in, laughing as she held up her drink, eyes already bright with excitement. "And I fully intend on winning whatever ridiculous game Aeliana's come up with."
