With the barrier disrupted, the Justice League and their Atlantean allies faced Typhan, a monstrous creature born from Klarion's chaos. The bi-pedal monstrosity loomed before them, its serpentine appendages writhing menacingly.
Superman was the first to strike, his powerful punch landing squarely on Typhan's torso. The creature staggered back slightly but showed no signs of serious injury, manhunter shape shifting into a huge anaconda tries to restrain the beast by wrapping himself around its serpentine appendage's, Wonder Woman followed aiming her sword at its chest. One of Typhan's many serpentine limbs struck her away, sending her tumbling through the water, while another one bits onto j'onn body and throws him off.
Aquaman, Mera, Aqualad,Garth,Tula and the Atlantean soldiers launched their attacks, but their efforts seemed futile. Only Superman's blows had any significant effect. Typhan roared, a deafening sound that disoriented the heroes and threw some of them back with its sheer force.
Batman shooting the monster in the face as well as firing off missiles from the ship against it, but did absolutely no damage to Typhan except making it angry and growl, observing the battle, he communicated through the speakers, "Toneri, why aren't you helping?"
Toneri, standing a short distance away, responded calmly. "I'm assessing the capabilities of the League members. I've seen enough."
He quickly performed a series of hand seals, his movements precise and fluid. "Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique)!"
The water around him twisted and coalesced into three massive dragons, their yellow eyes glowing fiercely. The dragons roared, echoing through the surrounding and shocking the Atlantian forces, before charging at Typhan with incredible speed.
The water dragons collided with Typhan, their powerful jaws clamping down on the creature's limbs. The impact was immense, causing Typhan to reel back a bit, its serpentine appendages thrashing wildly. The combined might of the dragons pushed the creature back, giving the League members a momentary respite.
Toneri's eyes, still in Byakugan mode, scanned Typhan for weaknesses. He knew this battle was far from over, but he was ready to unleash a bit of his power to help the Justice League defeat this monstrosity.
'Well let's keep it at a minimal shall we.'
The water dragons clamped down on Typhan's limbs, their immense strength momentarily restraining the monstrous creature. Taking advantage of this, Toneri moved closer, preparing to unleash another jutsu.
However, Typhan broke free from the dragons' hold, the last dragon coiling around its body disintegrating as a sinister red energy coated Typhan like a thick suit.
Before Typhan could retaliate, Superman,Manhunter and Wonder Woman launched a coordinated attack. Superman delivered a powerful uppercut to Typhan's jaw, j'onn attacking its chaotic mind by disrupting its balance and Wonder Woman followed with a mighty strike from her sword followed by a punch. The combined force of their attacks lifted Typhan several tens of meters upward, buying Toneri a crucial moment.
"Suiton: Jushokuzame (Water Release: Ten Feeding Sharks)!" Toneri called out, speeding through the necessary hand seals.
The surrounding water twisted and surged, forming ten massive, menacing sharks with glistening, sharp teeth. Each shark roared to life, its eyes gleaming with malevolent intent as they charged toward Typhan with incredible speed. The sharks bit down on Typhan's limbs and torso, holding it in place despite its fierce struggles creating an opening for the league members to keep on attacking.
"Suiton: Mizudeppō Rendan (Water Release: Water Bullet Barrage)!" Toneri muttered, channeling his chakra with precision.
"Move away or you will be caught in the attack." Toneri transmitted his voice through the water with chakra just before the water bullets arrived at their position.
From behind the attacking sharks, a barrage of high-velocity water bullets shot out, each one striking Typhan with thunderous force. The relentless barrage pummeled the creature, each impact resonating through the ocean like underwater explosions.
The combined might of the sharks and the water bullets held Typhan firmly in place, preventing it from launching a counterattack.
The Justice League members watched in awe as Toneri's jutsu wreaked havoc on Typhan.
Despite the creature's immense power and resilience, Toneri's mastery over water-style techniques was proving to be a formidable asset in this underwater battle. His techniques, elevated to the point that only legendary shinobi like Tobirama Senju or Kisame Hoshigaki could achieve, were turning the tide in their favor.
Aquaman, Mera, and Aqualad took advantage of Typhan's temporary vulnerability, joining forces with Superman, Manhunter and Wonder Woman to continue their assault. The combined might of the heroes, along with Toneri's powerful jutsu, began to overwhelm the monstrous creature.
Yet, Typhan's red energy aura flared again, signaling that the creature was far from defeated. It let out another deafening roar, shaking the ocean around them and signaling that the battle was still far from over. The heroes braced themselves for the next phase of the fight.
As the heroes pressed their advantage against Typhan, believing victory was within their grasp, the monstrous creature unleashed a devastating counterattack. With a deafening roar, Typhan summoned a massive-scale attack, channeling its formidable power into a swirling vortex of energy underwater. The water around it twisted and churned, resembling a monstrous hurricane raging beneath the surface.
The force of the attack was immense, sending shockwaves rippling through the ocean. The sheer magnitude of the assault sent members of the Justice League hurtling away, their bodies propelled by the sheer force of the water.
Even the Atlantean forces, accustomed to the depths of the ocean, struggled against the pressure of the attack, their vessels tossed about like mere toys.
In the chaos that ensued, the vessel holding Batman and Canary was caught in the maelstrom, tossed and turned by the violent currents. Despite their best efforts to maintain control, the sheer force of Typhan's attack proved overwhelming, and the vessel was thrown off course, careening dangerously through the tumultuous waters.
Toneri, ever agile and quick-witted, managed to right himself amidst the chaos. With a deft movement, he righted himself on a nearby reef, his landing sending vibrations through the rest. Like a cat, he landed gracefully on his feet, his gaze fixed on Typhan as the creature unleashed its devastating assault.
As Toneri observed Typhan's movements, he knew they had to act quickly to prevent further destruction. With Canary's voice crackling over the comms, urging them to intercept Typhan before it reached the surface, Toneri nodded in silent agreement. The urgency of the situation was clear – if Typhan made it to the surface, it would unleash untold havoc upon the world above.
With determination in his eyes, Toneri prepared to spring into action once more.
As Typhan surged towards the surface with impressive speed, Toneri blasted off from the reef he was on, the sheer force of his lift-off completely destroying it. He cut through the water like a missile, chasing after the monstrous creature relentlessly while also firing of Another water dragon.
While Toneri pursued Typhan, the rest of the forces struggled to regain their bearings. Superman, using his super strength, caught the vessel after it was thrown by Typhan's initial assault, preventing further destruction. The Atlantean group, now reduced to eight, included Aquaman, Mera, Aqualad, Garth, Tula, and three other fortunate soldiers who survived the confrontation.
Seeing the losses they had suffered, Aquaman turned to his wife and the remaining soldiers. "Retrieve the bodies of the fallen and return to Atlantis," he commanded. Mera nodded, her expression somber, and led the others away to carry out the grim task.
Aquaman and Aqualad then regrouped with the rest of the Justice League. As they came together, the urgency of intercepting Typhan became clear. Wonder Woman, her voice tinged with awe, spoke up. "Toneri's abilities are remarkable. His manipulation of water and his physical prowess are impressive."
Batman, always focused on the mission, interrupted. "There's no time for that. We need to get to the surface and fast." The team nodded in agreement, ready to follow Toneri's lead.
