---

The items didn't specify damage, and the Skill also didn't specify the exact cost. According to the game's Wiki, Skills generally don't specify the mana, stamina, or other energy costs unless they are specific Skills.

The game's creators established this both as a test and to ensure players have more flexibility and capacity for discovery and adaptation on their own.

Nevertheless, I was satisfied enough and went to the trainer's side, where there were almost no people in the room. And there I saw the trainer.

---

Name: Fisk

Lvl: ????

Title: Trainer of the beginner village, strict trainer hated by the "blessed/cursed" souls, ?????

Description: One of the trainers of the beginner village, strict and demanding. Be careful not to get beaten by him. He won't help much, so think carefully if you want to stay here or go to the other trainer.

---

The trainer was talking to a young guy in front of me, and I could hear their conversation.

"Can't you give me better instructions on how to use the spear?"

"No."

"Darn! The other trainer at least explained some basic moves and even gave a manual of basic spear techniques. You gave nothing!!"

The trainer looked at him with cold eyes.

"Why would I give something to someone who didn't impress me?"

I was impressed by his action, and I imagine why this trainer doesn't have a good reputation. Individuals who select a weapon receive a technique manual, which helps them know how to use the weapon, something most players wouldn't know if they hadn't played before or used the weapon in real life.

The manual offered the basics of how to use the weapon, which the trainer would help guide, as well as one or two Skills. All of this was shown in the basic game trailer.

"Tsk, I thought there would be something special here... but it just seems problematic and annoying. I'll go to the other trainer."

The trainer didn't react and was indifferent to his departure.

Soon, I stood in front of him, and when I positioned myself, I felt his strong gaze.

"Two weapons? It seems you want me to evaluate you well... good luck."

"For the training, the first step is to perform, isyour mana control. For the second, you will have to destroy a specific number of dummies using the magic arrow and others with the trainer dummy. Your movements and performance will be what I evaluate for the first training.

---

Mission: Impressive Training I.

Objective:

Demonstrate satisfactory mana usage to the trainer.

Destroy training dummies with magic arrows (0/10), destroy training dummies with your whip (0/15).

Reward: Impressive Training II, 2 low-level mana potions, 3 low-level HP potions.

Description: To fulfill the previous mission and pass the training, the trainer will give you challenges that you must complete with essence and progress. The test will be graded F D C B A S. If you do not achieve an average of B in both missions, you will not pass.

"Come, I'll show you."

He spoke and took me aside, then calmly raised his hand, and his mana ran into the air in a typical blue color.

"This is the pure use of mana. Each individual normally has a color depending on their magic."

This large amount of mana in the air quickly began to change and transform into swords or different objects in the air and even some small threads.

"For this part, you must bring the mana out of your body and try to change it. You must also maintain this state for at least 30 seconds. Know that bringing mana out of your body without using spells, magic circles, or Skills is not easy, despite being one of the basic principles for magicians, future necromancers, and even for support-related classes like priests."

"Understood."

He seemed satisfied with my respectful and attentive expression and continued.

"I'll help you at first; the sensation may be a little difficult at the beginning."

"Close your eyes and try to find the energy inside your body. Mana is in everything in this world currently, just like life. All living beings received mana and even the non-living. It is said to be something that the gods of magic and a particular archmage from the past played a role in making this reality possible."

I followed his command and closed my eyes while trying to concentrate similarly to a meditation process, also remembering Livia's description of other games.

Over time, I managed to feel the energy and slowly extracted it from my body.

With the mana coming out of my body, it felt like I could sense the world and objects from another perspective. At the same time, I tried to focus and concentrate on the mana in my body and even on what I could feel from the environment, slowly trying to change it.

The sensation was strange but particularly fascinating, and I especially enjoyed using it. It reminded me of when I played with a simulator to de-stress. There I concentrated my energy to create objects in a simulated space. Although different, it was quite similar.

As seconds passed, my mana began to transform. It started turning into threads, though they seemed a bit scattered and thin. After a while, these threads also began to turn into animals like birds, horses, and dogs. They weren't well-formed and looked more like small silhouettes, but they seemed to adjust over time.

However, after almost 2 minutes, I sat down a bit on the ground, tired.

Both the concentration and the mana cost were not easy processes to maintain for so long, given that I was still at level 1 and without a class. Even though my status was a bit higher because I was a half-breed of strong species and seemed to have received influence from someone who interfered during the profile creation.

But the trainer Fisk seemed satisfied with what he saw.

"It was a good performance. Now to the next one."

"Now let's start learning how to use the whip. 10 seconds to rest."

"Okay."

I sat on the ground and breathed in a meditative position.
