CHAPTER 33: AT LONG LAST [R-18]
Goku sat quietly in his captain's quarters, the flickering glow of a single candle casting long shadows across the room. The worn edges of an old book rested in his hands, and the silence of the ship gave him a moment to reflect. His thoughts meandered through the events of the past few days—endless, grueling training sessions with the crew. Each member had been pushed to their limits and beyond, their sweat and fatigue palpable with every movement, but Goku felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
His mind wandered to the path that lay ahead. The Grand Line, a place notorious for breaking even the strongest, was no ordinary sea. Only the most disciplined and hardened pirates stood a chance there, and it was up to him to make sure his crew would survive. He felt a surge of pride when thinking of their progress. They'll be stronger for it. This training will save us when things get rough, he mused, his lips curling into a small, thoughtful smile. Despite the harshness of his methods, he knew it was necessary. In the long run, every drop of sweat, every aching muscle, would pay off.
And then there was his own evolution. Mastering his Ki was proving to be a unique challenge in this new world, even with his Saiyan instincts. He had made strides, yes, but there was so much more to grasp—so much more potential locked away, waiting to be discovered. The power bubbling beneath his skin felt both familiar and foreign. He could feel it pulsing within him, just out of reach, taunting him with what could be. Yet, Goku knew he was getting closer, and that made him excited. One day, he thought, I'll fully control it.
A soft knock on the door broke his train of thought, bringing him back to the present. He didn't need to sense her Ki to know who it was.
"Come in," he said, his voice calm and steady.
The door creaked open, and Nami stepped inside, the dim light catching her figure in a way that made Goku's breath hitch for a brief moment. She wore a silk robe, loosely draped over her frame, its neckline plunging just enough to be alluring without being overly revealing. The moonlight filtering through the porthole window danced across her skin, giving her an ethereal glow. Her fiery orange hair, tousled from the breeze outside, cascaded down her shoulders.
She raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised to see him still up and reading after what she knew had been an exhausting day of training for everyone. "I thought you'd be asleep," she remarked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
Goku closed the book gently, his eyes meeting hers. "Just... learning," he replied, holding up the cover so she could see. It was a history book about a man named Noland from the North Blue, someone who had been branded as a liar and a fool for claiming to have discovered a mythical golden city. "It's not as tough as the training I've put the others through."
Nami smirked, her eyes gleaming with a mix of admiration and curiosity. "Still trying to push your limits, huh? You're not even close to yours yet, are you?" There was a playful lilt to her voice, but Goku could see through it—the way her eyes lingered, the slight shift in her stance. She was waiting for something. An answer, perhaps. Or maybe something more.
He gave a soft chuckle. "Not yet. It'll take a lot more than that to wear me out." His tone was light, but his gaze didn't waver from hers. The room suddenly felt warmer, the air between them charged with unspoken words.
For a moment, they stood in silence, neither of them making a move, as though both were waiting for the other to take the first step. Goku noticed it then—the way Nami's eyes flickered, not with the usual sharpness but with a certain softness, a silent question. Her lips parted slightly, as if she wanted to say something but couldn't bring herself to speak.
He understood. He had made his feelings known long ago, but she hadn't yet given her answer, at least not officially. She was a free spirit, and Goku respected that about her. But now, under the dim candlelight, in the quiet of the ship, he could feel the moment stretching between them.
With a steady hand, Goku closed the book entirely, laying it on the table beside him. "Noland the Liar," he said, his voice low. "They say he was a fool, that his stories were nothing but tales to make people laugh. But I think... there's more to it. The truth is probably buried in there somewhere, and one day, we might need to know it." He let the thought hang in the air for a moment, the importance of the story becoming clear. Noland's tale wasn't just a bedtime story—it was a piece of the puzzle, a clue to something bigger.
But that wasn't the only thing weighing on his mind.
"What about you, Nami?" he asked suddenly, his eyes locking onto hers. His voice was calm, but his words held a gravity that made her stiffen. "You know how I feel about you. You know what I've asked. So... what will it be?"
Her breath hitched, and for a moment, the ever-confident navigator seemed to falter. The weight of his question hung heavy in the room, the silence deafening. She looked down, as if gathering her thoughts, and then back up at him, a soft smile forming on her lips.
"I'll join," she said, her voice steady but soft, as though finally letting go of the uncertainty she had been holding onto. "I'll be your navigator."
Goku's face lit up with a wide, genuine smile, and Nami couldn't help but mirror it. But as he stood from his chair and circled the table to face her fully, the atmosphere shifted once more.
"And the other thing?" he asked, his voice quieter now, but no less serious. He was closer now, close enough to see the faint blush rising to her cheeks, the way her eyes darted down for a split second before meeting his again.
Her hesitation was palpable, but there was a look in her eyes—something that spoke of relief, as if she had been waiting for this conversation as much as he had. Under the soft glow of the candle, their eyes met, and the tension in the room became almost unbearable. Her lips trembled, her body inching just a little closer, as if drawn to him.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Nami's voice broke the silence. "I'll be your woman too," she whispered, her eyes never leaving his. "Not just your navigator."
elief and tension melted away in an instant. Goku, his heart pounding in his chest, couldn't help the grin that spread across his face. They stood there, close, their eyes locked, both knowing that their relationship had just changed forever.
The candle flickered between them, casting soft, dancing shadows as the night grew deeper. He leaned in closer, far closer than ever before. He could now literary feel her breath on his face. Their lips seemed to be pulled together by a force far stronger than any reservation the two might have about each other. The force became unbearable and their lips touched.
The kiss as a bit awkward, Goku, as Eto had gained experiences before. For Nami this was her first kiss. Eventually Goku led the way until their tongues entered. Dancing in a maelstrom of pure ecstasy. Goku used all his experiences to make sure this was as best a kiss as she could experience. Their hurried breaths rung out through the silence of the ship. The laughter and commotion from the crew had long died down. The tiredness from the grueling training had knocked them all out.
After what felt like an eternity, the two separated finally. Their hurried breaths in sync like a well run orchestra. Their eyes locked deep into each other. He wanted her eve since he rescued her from Buggy. He had buried his feelings long enough. He had long decided he was not going to hold back in this world. Looking into her eyes he knew she too wanted him. In that moment he reached for his vest and tore it away from his body. His godly chest stood bare for her to witness and admire.
For so long Nami had sacrificed all that was her for the sake of the greater good of the village and all those she cared deeply for. For the first time in a long time she wanted to do something just for herself. Off came the dress that she stand only in her underwear. Her amble blossom being kept under lock and key by the brazier. Her amazing figure that could control empires shown under the dim candle light.
Goku saw this as the final confirmation for what he knew already. He lounged and grabbed her by the waist, pulling her to his body. Their lips entwined in hot kiss once again. Her arms hugging his neck. His arms wondering around her back, unhooking her bra that her oppai jump out after what felt like an eternity in captivity. Eto had been with quite a number of women in his time on earth. In that he had rarely if ever been entranced by the body of a woman. Nami was not like any woman he had ever seen. Words could not describe how he found her oppai. The only words that came to his mind were ,'those heave defying breasts'.
