Desserts, glasses of wines, and the foods were extravagant on top of the table. The statue like pilllars of the Sapphires main estate seemed both historical and elegant.
The stars and the the moon was visible through the vast window. Waiters was going around offering wines, the chandeliers providing light and comfort awe to the eyes, Sapphires banquets are as flawless as ever.
The room was filled with a warm light and people chattering maintained a lively atmosphere that enveloped the surroundings. Also, all people were smiling be it fake, genuine or half hearted, they were all smiling.
*Which is why I feel more out of place. Well, it's better than actually having to talk to someone.*
Still standing on the corner beside the table, I sippped my wine nonchalantly.
Moments later and it was time for Duke Sapphire to deliver his speech regarding the event. He stood in the middle of the room, his wife and daughter standing behind him.
He smiled warmly, radiating a warm aura towards the room which made the noisy mosquitoes shut up instantly. Duke Xavier Mendel Sapphire is very handsome, Hail's gentle blue eyes and lovely pink hair was inherited from the duke.
*Tsk, tsk, the power of genetics.*
"We celebrate this banquet today in honor for my wife which was always by my side and my lovely daugther that will soon debut to society." Duke Sapphire looked back at his wife and daugther then smiled lovingly. Hail and the duchess returned the duke's smile just as lovingly.
He turned back to the guests and continued, "It is within my knowledge that you all were very enthusiastic about attending this banquet."
*'Cept me.*
"And I thank you all for attending with a bright and kind heart. May you all enjoy the rest of the evening." He ended with a sweet smile as he went back to his wife and took her arm on his and greeted the other guests personally.
* "Attending with a bright and kind heart" huh? The duke is kind and needlessly naive. And I dont see any of Alexandria's supporters, they weren't invited I guess, they are troublemakers after all. Yet here I am, being a Dandelion has it's perks. Hehe.*

As the nobles were deeply conversing the front door burst open. A young man with golden blonde hair and gem like green eyes came in, his features were elegant and owned noticibly by nobility.
He gave off a slightly intimidating air around him, which immediately disappeared after he smiled charmingly.
The guard was taken aback and stutteringly announced, "T, the rising sun o,of the e,empire!"
*Guess who.*
He gulped, regaining his composure and continued. "The Crown prince of the Night Empire, Caleb Theobald Raycroft grace us with his presence!"
From the host to the noble guests to the waiters and the guards and the guests outside, all bowed and recited. "We greet the rising sun of the empire."
*The crown prince, the third male lead of my novel. Pretty.*
Caleb smiled warmly as he caught glance of where Hail stood and said with a gentle voice that'll make your heart throb, "All rise."
*Boy, that face and voice was a sin.*
Everyone in the room and outside all raised their head and smiled warmly, a lot of nobles immediately went where the crown prince was to talk with him. He talked to them with a patient charming smile.
*Haha, he's probably itching to go to Hail already and is finding the multitude that's surrounding him.*
I smirked and sipped my wine, could not possibly care less about the surrounding.
As I was about to take another sip, I felt that feeling again which made me pause.
*Man, my heart is throbbing in pain... Ugh, damn it.*
I gulped down the red wine and put the empty glass on the table and head towards the balcony to breathe in some fresh air without sparing the room another glance.
Once I stepped inside to the balcony, seeing grasses in the field dancing with the wind and the gentle wind meeting my skin. I leaned my elbow on the railings and propped my head with my right hand and ran my free hand through my hair, not caring if I wasted Astrid and Lina's half an hour effort on it.
I looked up the sky and saw the night sky shining brightly yet gently and the stars seemed like little glow bugs floating around. It's beautiful and comforting.
*Which made my heart swell in pain more.*
"Troublesome." I stood straight and ran my hand through my hair again, combing the strands of my hair agitatedly.
My heart throbbed again, making me groan. Must be because I'm possessing Alexandria's body, so I own her heart now... And her pain...
*I don't even own this feeling... But I'm smart... I know that this constant throbbing means...*
Alexandria's pain, insecurities, sorrow, hatred, and loneliness, it was all carved in her body and heart. That's why it was so hard to make a gentle and sincere smile at first, I even scared Lina.
...In my observation. The moment I felt that stinging emotion, My expression involuntarily turned stoic. As if it's Alexandria's reflex to hide her pain.
And Alexandria... She trembles at the presence of his father and always feels nostalgic with her brother... She couldn't even call her brother 'brother' for twenty two years because she felt that she didn't deserve to.
*And the worst of all is that this feeling... It hurts like hell.*
She bottled things up to the point that it formed to an excruciating pain. An unbearable one... Even I, the author couldn't imagine this pain when I wrote her painful life.
My heart feels like it's squeezing... How could one live through this constant pain every single day...
My chest kept throbbing painfully and I felt a watery liquid ran down my cheeks.
*Hm? Rain?*
I looked up again and saw that the sky was clear and full of stars, It held a captivating glow just like a few minutes ago.
*Oh, tears...*
My tears- No, It's Alexandria's tears, her heart can't take it anymore... Maybe with a hint of my sympathy... Tears fell uncontrollably.
I wiped my eyes to try to the stop the non-ending pouring of the sorrowful and hateful tears but failed. My heart swelled unbearably, almost begging me to cry till it stops hurting anymore.
I heard footspets, making me glance at the person's direction, I looked at the person with a calm expression yet with tears streaming down my cheeks.
"...Brother." I said quietly.
