It was the year 2101 AD, when the Dive-type games were becoming popular. As the nanotechnology had been developed to the point where the human civilization were going through another revolution. They called it "Cyber Revolution" — a period where the concept of "cyberspace" became a normal place to travel and relax by the general populace. It was the era where one must possess the IQ around 200 or above. Otherwise, you would be a waste on the society who was not even competent enough to use the Cybertechs. As most technologies in this era required a person to be extremely dexterous in their mental department.
However, the world was not yet devoid of entertainment. There were many virtual dive-type games one could play in their leisure, or in many cases, forever. As the Cyber market was full of such games, there were always some competition among the game companies to be on top. To be the first choice for many enthusiastic players.
Among these games, one was heads and toes above the rest of its competitors.
It was known as Pangaea, a VD-MMORPG or better known as the Virtual Dive – Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game.
At the first two weeks, it's performance was not good at all. But the developers used the game as an experiment to check the tastes and demands of this generation's players, and later adjusted the game to their liking.
From the pricing to technical designing, everything improved in just those two weeks. The players also noticed those changes and their approval rating for the game drastically changed as well. From an average VD-MMORPG to a highly sophisticated, easily manageable and eye-catching graphic designing level game, the leap it took was impressive.
One must say that the game was tough, but enjoyable. However, aside from its many services and entertaining features, the time of the final farewell was near.
In short, the game was about to shutdown the servers. And tonight, it would be last day in the cyberspace.
