Olivia woke up at noon the next day.
The ward was noisy.
Sophia woke up half an hour before Olivia, and when she heard that Olivia was still unconscious, she burst into tears, blamed herself for everything, and had to come over to see her.
All Liam could do was find a wheelchair and push her over.
Amelia saw the two and was on fire.
"Who let you in? Get out!"
Afraid of startling Olivia in her hospital bed, she lowered her voice and shooed.
Sophia has gauze wrapped around her forehead and a sickly, delicate look.
"Amelia, I just wanted to come and see how Olivia was doing; after all, I'm responsible for her being like this."
Amelia stared at her with cold eyes, wanting to rush over and slap her.
The one thing she regrets the most is separating from Olivia last night.
When she came out of the restroom, she didn't want to go back when she thought of Lucas surrounded by beautiful women, so she went downstairs to blow off some steam.
Slipping around and getting ready to head back, she saw Noah come rushing out with Olivia in his arms.
Noah was usually very cold, and at that moment, even more so, he was filled with a murderous aura. She didn't dare to go over there but could only pull Lucas, who had come out with him.
Lucas was in a hurry, and his face was ugly; after all, it was something that happened in his own venue.
He doesn't say much, and Amelia later sees Sophia, who is being carried out by security, and realizes that both Olivia and Sophia are unconscious in the hallway.
The exact reason is unknown.
Amelia pointed at Sophia, "You must have pushed Olivia off, and then you jumped off yourself."
Sophia screamed, "No, I did have Olivia called out.
"After all, it was a public apology, and I was so nervous that I wondered if I could work it out privately.
"When I met Olivia, I got down on my knees and begged her to get her to net me a favor, and she could not put me on stage.
"She disagreed and pinched my chin, saying she would get back at me and Liam hard.
"Said that was just the beginning; she got more and more agitated and then just went crazy, and she accidentally pushed me down the stairs."
She made a point of mentioning that the last time she was at Ava's birthday party was premeditated.
"That time, Olivia threw me and Ava into the pool without warning, and this time, it's no surprise that she suddenly pushed me down the stairs."
Amelia is completely unconvinced.
"Sophia, I don't believe a single punctuation mark of your words, and you'd better pray that Olivia is OK, or I won't spare you!"
Amelia glared menacingly over at Sophia as she softly and helplessly went for Liam's hand.
"I'm not lying; I'm telling the truth. I know I'm the one who's sorry for Olivia, and even though she's the one who pushed me down, I don't blame her; I just want to make sure she's OK."
Sophia had just woken up not long ago, and her face, already pale from talking so much, was even more fragile at this moment with the surplus of falling tears.
Heartbroken, Liam patted the back of her hand soothingly before looking up at Amelia, his eyes stern and sinister and a warning in his words.
"Amelia, Sophia is here because she's kind, and Olivia has broken the law by pushing her down."
Liam regrets that he didn't go last night.
He was going to go, and Sophia said it was humiliating after all, and she could just go by herself; he didn't have to go. She said with all those people, it would make it hard for him if they showed up with Olivia.
Lucas knew there couldn't be fewer people at Lucas's venue, so he didn't insist in the end.
He stayed at home and tried to figure out what to do to reduce the upcoming stress.
Is that really so?
Amelia sarcastically, "There's no surveillance in the building, so what Sophia says is what she says, huh?
"Liam, you asshole thing, you grew up with Olivia; what kind of personality does she have that you don't know? Would she intentionally harm someone's life? Scumbag!"
After scolding Liam, Amelia points at Sophia.
"And you scum, who helped you in high school when you were a redneck getting bullied all kinds of times at school?
"You had no money; who paid your tuition? You were isolated; who treated you as a friend? It was all your best friend, Olivia!
"If it wasn't for Olivia, would you have made it through high school?
"You're good. You hooked up with her boyfriend while she was away, and this is how you repay her?"
The last thing Sophia wants to talk about is high school.
In high school, she was the complete ugly duckling, humble to the bone, and that was a past she didn't want to look back on or admit to.
"Liam, I'm not feeling well; let's go back."
She was desperate to get out of there, and Liam, angry at being scolded by Amelia, snapped at Amelia sarcastically:
"I'm a scumbag, and Lucas isn't?
"Before you were engaged, he was surrounded by women; after you were engaged, he's still surrounded by women, and he's much more of a scumbag than I am.
"You even put up with your fiancé; I have nothing to do with you; who are you to judge me?"
He pokes Amelia by mentioning Lucas.
The door was pushed open from the outside.
"She's in no position to judge you, so who are you to judge me?"
Lucas's emotionless voice swept over slowly.
"Liam, at the very least, Amelia is scolding you to your face; you're being a villain by talking about people behind their backs. If you have the guts, curse me to my face."
Liam's face went a shade of green and white, and he was about to say something before swallowing his words at the sight of the man behind him.
Give a good shout, "Uncle."
Noah gave him a faint look, "The doctor said Olivia needs to rest; take your people and get out."
Liam can't get angry, knowing that if he stays any longer, his uncle will be angry with Sophia, so he can only endure it.
Pushing Sophia, she was about to leave when there was a sudden movement in the hospital bed.
"Well ..."
He lurched to his feet and turned his head toward the bed.
The others heard it, too; Amelia was busy turning and running over, "Olivia?"
There was no response; the subtle sound was still there.
"Noah...Noah..."
Amelia was in over her head, Noah?
Olivia's voice got a little louder behind her, and this time, it was all heard that she was calling out for Noah, and several eyes looked toward Noah at the same time.
Noah's face was stoic, but his deep eyes flashed with surprise.
He also didn't expect Olivia to call out his name when she wasn't yet conscious.
"Aigoo, my baby ai, you finally woke up!"
Amelia shouted.
In the hospital bed, Olivia slowly opens her eyes, sweeping them to the side and finally landing on Noah with a soft cry:
"Noah, come here and give me a hug."
Crowd: "..."
Amelia looks distressed, no good; Olivia must have broken her brain in the fall.
Liam sneers; this woman must be deliberately pissing him off again; how dare she use her uncle as a tool? She's really not afraid of death.
Sophia wakes up with her mind a little confused as well; she thinks Olivia should have tried to call out for Liam and called him by the wrong name.
Only Lucas watched to see what was going on and reached out to push Noah over.
"Olivia's asking you for a hug. Aren't you going to give her a hug?"
Noah thought Olivia's "hug me" couldn't have been meant for him or that she'd called out to the wrong person and was caught off guard when Lucas pushed him into the hospital bed while he was in the middle of a thought.
He looked down at Olivia, meeting her clear gaze with a polite and gentle question.
"Is it a headache? Call a doctor for you?"
Olivia reached out toward him, "My head doesn't hurt; it's hard to lie down, so help me up."
Noah's dark eyes locked on her, and fearing embarrassment if she came to her senses, he didn't reach out, sidestepping slightly to the side so Amelia could help her.
Amelia bustled over and helped Olivia sit up before shoving a pillow into her back.
About to speak, Olivia nudged her and leaned in to grab Noah's hand.
Yanking him over, he scooted his own ass outside, then reached around Noah's waist.
Olivia spoke again, again startling everyone.
"Honey, I was scared to death when I fell down the steps last night; I thought I'd never see you again."
Honey????
"Olivia, you're on a break; stop talking."
Amelia thinks Olivia's brain is confused from the fall and recognizes the wrong person, and is afraid that if she continues like this, the scene will be out of control for a while, and she's also afraid that Noah will slap her to death in a while.
Stepping forward, he grabbed her by the shoulders and prepared to pull the person away when his other hand reached out before her.
"Olivia! You stop it!"
Overcomes Liam, who presses Olivia's shoulders and pushes back.
"Don't act crazy. Aren't you just trying to irritate me? There's no need, we're done, you don't treat your uncle like a tool man."
Olivia shook off his hand and ducked back into Noah's arms, glaring up at Liam.
"Who are you? You're the one who's sick; I don't know you; why am I irritating you?"
Liam blushed even harder, "You don't recognize me? Say again, you don't recognize me!"
Olivia looked puzzled, "Who are you, and why do I know you?"
"You ..."
"Shut up." Noah swept a faint glance toward Liam.
When the hospital room was finally quiet, Noah looked down at Olivia in his arms, standing still and letting her hold him, his deep eyes looking at her in a fleeting glance.
"Who am I?"
"Noah."
"How old am I?"
"Thirty-two, do you even know how old you are?"
"You call me husband, we're married?"
"Nope, engaged, getting married in the next year; why are all your questions so strange today."
"Last question, who is Liam?"
"Liam?" "Who's Liam?"
The conversation ended, and a terrible silence fell over the ward.
Until Lucas tsked in amazement, "Is this ... a memory lapse?"
Amelia was called back to her senses by this cry of his and was delighted. Hey, this is a blessing in disguise, and fearing to be happy for nothing, she asked cautiously:
"Olivia, you really don't remember Liam?"
Olivia: "Why do you remember him? Who is he?"
Amelia pointed at Liam, "So, do you know him?"
Olivia hugged Noah without letting go and twisted her head to look at Liam, scrutinizing him for a few moments before offering a conclusion.
"Not recognizable."
"Olivia!"
Liam was at the end of his tether, "You need to stop pretending; you're only making me sicker; you're the one who wanted to break off the engagement; what are you doing this for now?"
He steps forward to wrench Olivia's hand away from Noah's waist, and Noah gives him a nonchalant look, and Liam's hand freezes in midair.
"Uncle, she's using you to spite me."
Noah ignored him and lowered his eyes, his gaze returning to Olivia, peering at the tiny shimmering lights under her eyes.
"You rolled down the stairs and bumped your head. Send the doctor over to take a look?"
The low, husky voice carries an unfathomable amount of tentativeness, and Olivia blinks and nods, "Good."
Liam went to the doctor he called, and on the way, he talked about the situation, and after that, he was desperate to hear the answer.
"She's faking it, right? There's no way that could happen; it's ridiculous."
DOCTOR: "What you said about memory lapses ... is possible in some patients, but of course, we'll have to check and see."
After all the tests and a brain CT, Liam still didn't have the answers he wanted to hear.
Doctor: "All the tests are normal; you need to rest more; as for the memory disorganization, maybe it's just temporary. Don't worry, it doesn't affect normal life."
Reassurance was out of the question!
Liam wasn't in love with Olivia anymore, but Olivia calling Noah darling was just going to gross him out!
Honey?
Olivia wants to marry her uncle, and he doesn't approve!
