In 20XX (consider it current common tech and a bit into the future), most games are disregarded by the public as common. With almost no games being satisfactory, there is a slim chance to be a hit. The gaming community wants change, and no games can offer it.
This could be the possible end of gaming, and no regular person is happy about it. But the introduction of Keri: Perfection suddenly revives it.
Keri: Perfection is a multiplayer game centered around the lore and story. Unlike your regular grinding game, there are Chance Slots, which allow you to spin a roller at anytime to complete or help do what you want to do.
Chance slots make the game easier, and more open. However, even with Chance Slots, the world is a big world, with the biggest in a place being the minimum in another.
Keri introduces Xianxia, a cultivation fantasy in a new light and chips and revamps it completely.
Keri explains that the players aim to become Xianlords, beings of immense power, and someone that has absorbed or tamed the powerful other half of their soul. The soul, because not friendly with you, fights against your intentions whether they be good or bad. Xianlords are unable to stray from good, but there are beings who don't absorb or tame it but devour or kill it called Soulshadows, able to do anything they want, at the expense of being an enemy of all of the country superpowers and also NPC Xianlords being after them.
Demons are just high-ranking henchman to the Monarchs, the demon lords. Demons are not exactly evil, but will defend the tunnels to the underworld, where the monarchs live.
Ghosts and spirits were sealed by heroes long ago, able to be summoned with Soulence, the energy or appear in areas of life absence, where there will be no living beings to absorb it to cultivate.
Spirits and ghosts have a hatred for anything that aren't them, and will absorb more of the Soulence, and will shift into weirder forms and become stronger.
The story itself is well-rounded, and enjoyable. However…
Major Update 3.2: The developers of Keri have decided that to increase the reality… using the money and influence we have earned from all your gracious contributions… we have taken major authority of a country, which is Vanuatu.
All non-players are advised to leave, because this will be for dedicated players – and all will be given Project 0304 equipment, and a small house.
This is the revamp of the VR version completely, meaning all VR headsets or so are blacklisted till further notice. PC users will have a less smooth experience considered to dedicated players.
Tourism of Vanuatu will be allowed for tourists and non-players, however wandering into the main sites will equal to a permanent blacklist and a 1-day arrest.
