In a tumultuous scene, Mahendran is confronted by a woman who vehemently intervenes, accusing him with a sharp tone: "Leave her, you freak!" This outburst catches the attention of Padma, who, in a moment of realization, flees as far as she can, her eyes wide with fear, knowing the danger Mahendran poses. Enraged by her escape, Mahendran issues a chilling threat to the woman: "If I see you again, I will kill you."
With the swiftness of a cheetah, Mahendran pursues Padma relentlessly. Cornered against a large stone, Padma braces herself for the inevitable, her eyes betraying her overwhelming fear as Mahendran closes in. With a swift, fatal blow, he ends her life, his visage and attire drenched in her blood, giving him a malevolent aura.
Returning to his palace, Mahendran's footsteps leave behind a trail of crimson. Entering his chambers, he encounters Shakuntala, who lost in a reverie, embraces his garment, lost in her own fantasies. However, her reverie is shattered when Mahendran's voice pierces the silence, his countenance transforming from sinister to benign. Startled, Shakuntala turns to face him, only to be greeted by the sight of his blood-soaked form. Concerned, she inquires about the events that transpired, to which Mahendran cryptically responds that he had a mission to eliminate Padma.
