Erik's eyes opened when he heard that and looked at Alyssa coming in, her body language a little different. He frowned as the feeling of uneasiness increased. He saw her heaving and waited for her to catch her breath before asking, "What happened?"
Alyssa, upon catching her breath, hesitated, like looking for words before she could let them out. Then again, she didn't know what to say, so she narrated what she saw.
"I-I went to Valcroy's house and…." She recounted how she arrived at his house and found many people surrounding it, making her wonder what was going on. She asked the people what happened, and they told her that they heard a sound like someone was fighting and came here. But by the time they arrived, the fight seemed to have been finished.
