Around noon.....
"Young master."
A voice brought Erik out of his meditation. Opened his eyes, turned his head, saw the person from yesterday who was there at the library and asked, "Where is Alyssa?"
Everyone in the estate knew that no one was to attend to Erik other than his squire, Valcroy, and his maid, Alyssa. Yet here someone was, looking at Erik with a smile plastered on his face.
He said, "Miss Alyssa has been out and hasn't returned yet." He bowed while saying that, apologizing for something that had nothing to do with him. While in his mind, he was grumbling, irritated that he was given this task.
Erik just looked at him, not saying another word, making him understand why everyone said he was weird. Just his gaze made a person uncomfortable.
He walked up to him, looked at the tray, then looked at him, saying, "Let's go."
