Lord Ravenswood, Lyra, and Kael sat in secret, devising a plan to unite their kingdoms. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were determined to make it work.
"We need to gather a small group of trusted allies," Lord Ravenswood said, his eyes scanning the room. "Men and women who are loyal to our cause, and willing to fight for peace."
Kael nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. "I know of a few Valtorians who would be willing to join us," he said. "And Lyra, you must know of some Eldridians who feel the same way."
Lyra nodded, a look of determination on her face. "I do," she said. "And I know they will be willing to fight for our cause."
Their plan was to gather their allies and launch a surprise attack on the armies of both kingdoms, forcing them to negotiate a peace treaty. It was risky, but they knew it was the only way to bring their kingdoms together.
As they finalized their plan, a knock at the door interrupted them. Lord Ravenswood's expression turned grave as he rose to answer it.
"Who could that be?" Lyra whispered, her heart racing with anxiety.
Kael's hand instinctively went to the hilt of his sword, ready for anything.
Lord Ravenswood returned, his face pale. "It's a messenger from the Valtorian palace," he said. "Queen Ariana has discovered our plan, and she is not pleased."
Kael's eyes narrowed. "We must act quickly," he said. "We can't let her stop us now."
Lyra nodded, her determination renewed. "We will not be deterred," she said. "We will fight for our love, and for our kingdoms."
